Please look for new and more frequent reviews coming soon. I will be graduating from graduate school next month December 17, 2011, so the reviews will be coming back. The other reviews have all been placed on Amazon.com which are current. I look forward to growing my reviews here and welcome everyone to continue to check back often.
I am looking forward to reading all the piles of books I have not had the chance to read due to graduate school.

The Holiday Season is upon us, it is time to buy our loved ones gifts, why not buy the perfect gift, a good book in which to enjoy while sitting by the fire place. Please look through our reviews there are so many great books that we have been reviewing lately that would make a perfect gift for Christmas.

Well here we are in the middle of summer and posting of reviews have slowed, it is sad that with all the reviewers we have counted on over the past few years take advantage of requesting books and not providing a review. I will begin reviewing the books I currently have on hand and will be placing as many reviews as possible after August 8, 2009. With graduate school leaves little time for other things, working full time and attending graduate school leave all thinks of passion and joy to rest. School will be out August 8 through August 29 and over that 21 days I will try to get things rolling again. Also during this period I will try to recruit and retain some honest reviewers who will actually provide a review. This is frustrating not only for us, but for you who are interested in reading the reviews and those who actually submitted the books to be reviewed. Please bare with us and we will be getting as many reviews out in a quick period of time.
If anyone is willing to sign up to review for us, please email us your details with a sample review and we will be glad to send a book to monitor turn around time and if all goes according to plan, we will then send more, once those are in, we will continue the process until the point in time when the reviews stop then we would request those books back to send to someone else to get the job done. GRAPHIC NOVEL!
My first graphic novel, THE CHILL, will be published in January, 2010 by DC Comics new imprint Vertigo Crime. The Chill is a thriller surrounding the investigation of a series of murders in Manhattan with a mysterious Druid connection. Art work is by Italian phenom Mick Bertilorenzi. Mick and I will be attending Comic Con in San Diego in July.
FIRST EVER AMERICAN EDITION OF FAKE I.D.
In June 2009, FAKE I.D. will be published for the first time ever in the United States by Hard Case Crime. FAKE ID just got a starred review in Publisher’s Weekly: “Starr expertly combines elements of hard-boiled crime novels with a dark view of human nature to create a one-of-a-kind, mesmerizing read.”
