JK Rowling’s last book in the Harry Potter series, Book 7 “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows”
The scheduled release date is July 21, 2007.
Sales are expected to be quite high so I suggest if you want the last in the Harry Potter series that you pre-order your copy today. I pre-ordered my copy over 2 months ago and am anxious for the release date.
If you have not read the other Harry Potter series books 1 through 6, I highly recommend them, they are great reads!

i liked all seven books and thought that the endding was really good. but i still felt like i needed more info. so i found it at wikipedia. One, George and Angelina Johnson get married and name thier son Fred. So, Ginny letting Harry pass on the names that mean so much to him just shows how much she loves him. And one more thing, “Victoire” Weasley is Bill and Fleur’s daughter, and Teddy was just there to say good bye.

Just finished reading the second book. Have never read any book where I said “AHA!” right out loud more times!! Masterful the way she tied everything together. Had a little trouble understanding the whole transfer of power, energy, etc. Had to read that chapter twice to fully understand, but was an excellent explanation of what led up to the moment of final confrontation between Harry and you know who. So satisfying to know that Harry’s torturous existence ends, and he essentially begins a whole new life “horcruxless”. His love and courage in the face of death was a very mature viewpoint for him, and yet during his conversation with Dumbledore at the end, he seemed very much the boy he had started out being in the first book. His innocence had returned, despite shedding his scars (emotional and physical). Not the least bit dissapointed. I look forward to reading anything else that Ms. Rowling writes in the future (fantasy or otherwise).
I dissagree witht he last opinion. While the book may not have had a satisfying ending, it may have be J.K. Rowling’s intention. I am on a school brake and whenever i have nothing to do or think about, I wonder what happened to all of them. I think the book filled in most of the mysteries that have been set in the past. If I were to rate this book against the others. 1 Being horrible, 5 being same, and 10 being incredible, I deffinatly have to rate it 9.5. The book was not only enlightening but also had a joking side to it through all the “darkness.” There was one part in the book that I failed to understand though. Who was Victoria, the one “Snogging Teddy,” as james so delicatly put it, in the end. Anyway well done J.K. Rowling, you have set a standard of writing hard to look up to. Keep up the good work.
I have finished the last book in the Harry potter series. After reading the first 6 somewhere around the avg of 3 times each, and the wantingness of the last book, the hipe that lead to the sale. I .. I .. was kinda let down really, the book as we most of us knew that Harry would have to fight He who must not be named and die. Cause most of us figured that Harry was one of the horcuxes. But then that was it, they won the battle. but then what happened to everyone to all that we had come to enjoy to want to know more about. the families the friends the alies. We just get another look at Hogwarts express and a new school year begining 19 years after the battle. With a mixed up silly names that Harry and Ginny gave their kids, most women i know would never let the man name the kids. and why not after her fallen brother? why all of Harry’s fallen kin and friends, it just not like Harry to do that, take over all of the name giving. I just was not there for me?!!!! and why 19 years later? they talk about Lupin and Tonks child going to hogwarts but yet he would be 19 and be done school.
Like i said before it was all to unsatisfing, a some what big let down.
Who decides which books get press (Harry Potter) and which get censored? After all, censorship is becoming America’s favorite past-time. The US gov’t (and their corporate friends), already detain protesters, ban books like “America Deceived” from Amazon and Wikipedia, shut down Imus and fire 21-year tenured, BYU physics professor Steven Jones because he proved explosives, thermite in particular, took down the WTC buildings. Free Speech forever (especially for books).

I bought my book today and it looks like it’s going to be a good book, although so far I’ve only had the time to read two chapters!
