I have had the new Amazon Kindle II now for about 5 to 6 weeks.  I have downloaded 7 pages of free books offered from Amazon so far.  Over the next few days I will be finalizing my review and will list some of the amazing free books for this product.

Another great thing is the Kindle 2 works with whispernet technology and the download of the books takes seconds.  And I love the fact that you can download a sample of any book before you buy.

I also purchased a Kindle Cover which holds the Kindle 2 in place and I never have to worry about hitting a button and something crazy happening or losing my place.  If you start two or more books this device remembers exactly where you are with each book and you never lose your place.  I love the fact that you can have the kindle read to you while driving or lying in bed at night with the lights out, it is wonderful.  I do not know how I ever survived without this little bundle of technology joy.
